*** Under Contract *** Dor L’Dor (“Dora”) is a beautiful 2011 black Hanoverian Mare with dressage potential and exceptional temperament. Her registered name means “generation to generation” which aptly fits her pedigree. Her sire, Dacaprio, won several under saddle championships as a young stallion in Germany with scores to 8.9 including scores of 8.5 for his canter and scores of 9 for his walk, trot, rideability and conformation. He is known for producing modern elegant and rideable offspring. Dora’s dam, Feinermint is by Feiner Stern who is similarly known for his rideability and outstanding trot and canter gaits.

Dora is currently 15.3H and will mature to 16H+. She has 3 nice easy-to-sit gaits under saddle and shows promise in the dressage arena. She is confident, uncomplicated, has a good work ethic and develops a strong, loving bond with her handlers and riders. Dora was bred and raised in Ohio where she was shown in USDF Breeders Championship classes as a yearling with scores to 75%. She came to High Valley Hanoverians in the Summer of 2014 for dressage foundation training and consignment sale. She is mid-way through her dressage introduction and is showing promise in the dressage arena.

Dora is offered for sale to a good home with an Adult Amateur or Young Rider with the support of a professional skilled in developing young warmblood sport horses for dressage. Dora is currently schooling Training Level dressage. As a secondary career, Dora has been approved for Hanoverian breeding.
