Douglas VL is looking for a partner that wants to enjoy dressage but would also like to hack around. Third level is easy for Doug and he has successful show records through PSG. Doug definitely has more whoa than go, but once he gets going he gives you the most amazing connected feeling and is a blast to ride. While not spooky, in new environments he might need his rider to keep him focused as his social nature can distract him. Doug takes a rider that has enough leg to get him going but responds best to a patient soft approach. He is sound, comfortable and safe to be around. He is perfect for rider to get their bronze on (potentially silver), but more importantly someone that wants to enjoy time with this special guy in and out of the sandbox as well.
