He has arrived! Such a leggy and correctly built guy! Born 15 May 2022, we are happy to announce the debut of a handsome colt destined for great performance.

This fabulous jumper/hunter prospect will be registered with KWPN-NA, microchipped, DNA-tested, USEF lifetime papered, and ready to go after weaning. Like all Maefield foals, this one will be handled daily from birth and will be raised in an environment that builds character and confidence.

As a sport horse prospect, this foal combines the power of a super sire with the elegance of a graceful dam. This baby will have talent for a variety of disciplines, with stellar jumping scope and style.

Sire: Dulf van den Bisschop (Heartbreaker – Libero – Grannus)
The beautifully conformed 17 h stallion Dulf van den Bisschop is both a BWP Elite sire as well as a BWP Ambassador. His performance career launched at age 3 when he took top honors in his stallion approval test. Dulf garnered a strong performance record both in Europe and the US, with wins in major jumper venues. Dulf’s offspring have also been highly successful. Son Harley van den Bisschop won the $380k Rolex Grand Prix in Tryon in 2016. See recent successes by other offspring on Dulf’s FB page. Dam: Zorphee ster (Corland – Indoctro)
KWPN ster mare, Zorphee, has an extensive show record. Prior to her importation, she was jumping 1.4 m in Europe under the show name “Zenith.” She became a successful equitation horse in the US. Zorphee comes from a strong performance mare line. She is 16.3 h (170 cm), leggy and long-lined. Zorphee’s 2019 foal, filly Ottumwa M (also by Dulf) has her dam’s athletic build, beautiful topline, and exquisite head. Ottumwa M was awarded the Champion Jumper Foal award for the 2019 KWPN-NA keuring tour. We expect Ottumwa's full sibling to be every bit as wonderful.
