Dusty Springfield - in foal to Lucky Light

Sadly offering the opportunity for a pinto lover to own a truly quality mare in foal to Lucky Light for an April 2015 foal. Due date April 29, 2015.

Dusty Springfield (Haico / Special D), May 2008, 16.3 hands, Imported KWPN, Homozygous tobiano mare.
Dusty is an incredibly special mare that I am honored to own...our circumstances changed and we need to let her find her new loving home. She is in foal to the Danish stallion Lucky Light, full sibling from 2013 pictured below. Her two previous foals were both Class I with Swana. Being only 6 years old, Dusty will be able to produce many, many quality foals for a breeder for years to come. She is easy to settle, took first time with frozen!

Dusty is also very rideable (we are shortly stopping the riding as she is getting too big) She can w,t,c, leg yields, cavalettis and is happy to hack out. She is very soft in the hand and easy to get round. She is a very beautiful mover and if she wasn't so valuable with her being HOMOZYGOUS pinto and her quality, I would keep her as my personal show horse but feel we need top colored mares like her bringing along someones breeding program. I would like to see her go to a home that will breed her but continue to ride her to keep her fit and happy! A 5 star home is a must for this mare.

The sire of this 2015 foal is Lucky Light -(Lagano X Marmor X Mangon) Lucky Light, currently standing at stud in Germany, won the European Championship for approved stallions Zangersheide. In 1993 he was the most successful showjumper in Denmark and in 1995 was awarded Elite Stallion Status based on his performance as well as that of his offspring. In 1996 Lucky Light was awarded the gold medal by Dansk Varmblod. From Lucky Light's first foal crop two were placed in international competitions as seven year olds, including Limbo, a member of the Australian 2000 Olympic Dressage Team, ridden by Mary Hannah, trained by Kyra Kyrkland, overall winner of Danish Young Horse Championship in 1996 with a score of 10 out 10 for rideability; Lucky Punch was the most successful show jumper in Denmark in 1997. In addition Lucky Light has produced two licensed Danish Stallions:
Heslegaards Starlight, Second place in the Danish jumping championship 1997, and Mosegaardens Delight, Winner of the 100 days test 1997.
