EAVA--2007 Premium Foal by Innkeeper(TB) X HOL

DISPERSAL TO GOOD HOME...REDUCED FOR QUICK SALE! FANTASTIC EVENT PROSPECT!!! EAVA is a very large dark bay (almost 16.3H now behind) 2007 filly with a star and one hind sock by the TB Innkeeper out of a Holsteiner/CSH mare. She was a premium foal with a score of 8.1 at her inspection and is registered and branded ISR/OLD NA. The inspector commented on her nice expression and beautiful rhythm. Her foals can be branded Oldenburg. Sisters out of this dam have been wonderful jumpers with quiet minds and very easy. I would expect her to mature around 16.3 (or bigger). Absolutely no health issues and always UTD on vaccinations and worming and hoof care. Consideration given to serious show home.

Great sport horse or breeding prospect! Ties. loads, stands for farrier, good attitude in general. Should be very trainable as are all her siblings...CALM temperament. REALLY LAID-BACK ATTITUDE!! NOT SPOOKY!

(Ursula Ferrier)or look him up in the detailed stallion listing at the ISR Oldenburg NA site. Innkeeper is a beautifully bred son of the legendary Secretariat. His dam line is even more impressive. His mother, Sue Babe produced amongst others, Sir Harry Lewis, Horse of the Year in Ireland and multiple graded stakes winner, Sir Richard Lewis. Innkeeper was sold as a yearling at the famous Keenland Select sale in Kentucky for 1.25 million dollars. He was only lightly raced. As a two year old, he beat Kentucky Derby winner, Strike the Gold and won his only start as a three year old. From his small racing crops he had quite a few winners and at one point had a national ranking as a second crop sire. Because of this, he still gets a few race breedings each year. Innkeeper is the consummate athlete. He has been a racehorse, a show hunter, an event horse and now he plays around in dressage. He is a lovely elastic mover, with a big trot and a huge gallop stride like his father. He is charming and incredibly sane! He is safe enough to put a child on and on occasion he is a lesson horse for nervous, beginner riders.

Innkeeper is one of only two approved thoroughbreds listed for lifetime breeding within the ISR/Oldenburg registry.

Heard rumor that Bruce Davidson and some of the other big time eventers are breeding to Innkeeper!

READY TO START UNDER SADDLE NOW! 3 yrs. on May 2!

*Eava's year older brother was brought back from the pasture and worked in the round pen for 5 days to learn W/T/C and to carry a bit and saddle. Immediately Sold to an adult amateur that took him home after seeing his "trainability" and wonderful temperament and got on him the second day at his new home! After 3 weeks, he went to his first Event and jumped around all the beginner jumps, banks, ditches, water without batting an eye! Willing to canter off on his own and thought it was great fun...needless to say, this owner is VERY HAPPY!
ALL of this Dams' foals have that super trainability and were EASY to start. All have been hunter/jumpers/eventers so far. EAVA should be no different. Ready to start NOW!

UPDATE: Have started groundwork/round pen work and saddle breaking. After only 3 days she is W/T/C and carrying a bit and saddle. Her canter is effortless and would be an asset on the cross country course! Her trot is reachy and elastic. Good walk, too. Her jump should be amazing as all siblings are jumping and are very stylish. I will post a video link here as soon as possible. **GET HER NOW BEFORE THE PRICE GOES UP AFTER SHE IS BACKED**
Gives to bit and stirrup pressure...ready for rider.

Head and conformation taken March 11, 2010.

APRIL 2010 VIDEO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99kaXhHLId4
Keep in mind that she is still higher behind (so downhill conf. does not help in the movement on the young ones!)and her gaits will improve with age/maturity after her front end catches up with her butt!

UPDATE: March 2010 continues with round pen work and is doing well and should be ready to back in the very near future.

Apologies to those who have asked for new video of free-gaits! This mare will not run around and show off...(she is not afraid of whips or plastic bags usually used to ge them movin')...

JULY 2010: back to pasture...she is growing still...
