This regal German Riding pony colt is bred to perform at the top levels! He is absolutely correct, good looking, smart, and just floats! His gaits are super elastic and he is very organized and well balanced thus, already showing excellent rhythm and engagement. Truly a very promising and competitive prospect! He also loves people and always greets you in the field and follows you around. Leads well, good with farrier, etc... he wants human interaction and so learns everything very quickly. Expected to finish right at 14.2h he will be suitable for any discipline, but we see dressage as the best place to showcase his spectacular gaits and balance.
The breeding on this boy is stellar and has produced as the pedigree promised. His handsome young sire, Checker WE, was a Premium stallion who was purchased and imported to the USA. Currently in training, he has already enjoyed victories and is slated for an FEI Driving Career, although he is also super dressage mount and has excellent jumping ability. He is by the super successful Kastanienhof Cockney Cracker, one of the top sires in Germany who began by winning his licensing in 2012 scoring "10"s twice for rideability! He continues his success in the FEI show ring, being named to the German Youth squad in 2020 and winning the bronze medal at German Championships in 2021, the Weser Ems 2021 Champion, and the 2021 Team European Championship! He has been the Nations Cup winner and has had many other international victories and placings in FEI dressage. He has sired many Premium foals including 2 Champion stallions and his descendants continue to garner medals at the Federal and International Championship Levels.
We also have Manchester United as Checker WE damsire who was Champion of 2010 Weser Ems Pony licensing and in the background are the most legendary ponies of Champion de Lux, FS Don't Worry, and Dornik B.
Choco Latte's dam is the beautiful young mare, Silke of Edenhof. She was the Champion German Riding Pony foal of 2015 with Westfalen NA, and returned as the Champion German Riding Pony mare in 2018. She has both exquisite appearance and gaits, and was successfully started under saddle as a youngster. However, we felt her most important contribution would be to produce top quality foals for US riders...and so she has begun!
