Tango is a lovely medium size Westfalen German Riding Pony gelding who will make an amazing pony. His breeding ensures talent and versatility for both the dressage and jumping arenas. He is a lovely mover with beautiful conformation that could also provide success on the line! Currently 2 years old, he is a bit over 13h and so we believe will finish right at 13.2h. This very flashy prospect is excellent to handle and trusting of people... hopped on the trailer first time presented, walks over tarps with you... good for farrier and vet etc...turns out with geldings or mares, stalls quietly next to a stallion etc... Tango is sired by the multi talented German Riding Pony stallion, Phenix, who recently passed. A successful competitor he carried the valuable FS Pour L'Amour blood through his sire, Popeye, which again provides a sire line proven to produce excellent and engaging amateur suitable temperaments with successful performance careers!
His Welsh dam is the beautiful and impressive Premium mare, VPrSt Parfait (Evans Providence of the Night x VPrSt Posh Lottie Da) who was Champion Westfalen NA Welsh B filly of 2019, and then Champion Westfalen Welsh B mare of 2022! She is also the full sister to the up and coming young hunter stallion, Edenhofs Piccolo!
His grand dam, again a Premium mare, VPrSt Posh Lottie Da, was the highest scoring mare in North America for Oldenburg and was rescored at 16 years old by Westfalen NA as Premium again! She successfully produced multiple sport ponies including the GRP stallion Dauntless Debonair, now showing at the FEI dressage levels in the US, and Edenhofs Piccolo, the Welsh B stallion beginning his under saddle career and boasting incredible trainability and amazing scope and style over fences! Dam sire is the highly personable and well decorated Evans Providence of the Night. After a successful performance career, he has become an extremely productive sire contributing to many multi talented ponies who are successful in dressage, eventing, and even the hunter ring finals!
