Sired by FEI stallion, Werbellin, this predominantly Hanoverian bred gelding is the first foal of Druscilla who represents an excellent mother line through her dam VPrSt Benetar (Black Tie/Davignon /Garibaldi). He was purpose bred to produce a large competitive dressage mount, with the easiest trainability and I think we were extremely successful!
This 2019 gelding is very big with long legs and is expected to easily reach 17h. His strong topline, excellent bone, absolutely correct conformation, and strength were all noted at his Westfalen Inspection...and has a powerful trot and canter, showing excellent rhythym, suspension, and active powerful hind leg.
He received 8's and 8.5's on movement as well! Amazingly agile and light on his feet for such a big boy...he was awarded Premium colt! He possesses the excellent Werbellin mind and is predestined for long term soundness in competition as his sire is still actively competitive at 26 years old! Appearing more mature and balanced much beyond his few short months, this colt is very confident and quietly solves problems without drama. Super smart, but not over reactive. Will make a long term dressage star, enjoying a fun and safe partnership for someone who requires or desires a large and friendly mount! *Side note is that this boy is also an amazing jumper as he proved over 5' paddock fencing at only 5 months of age!
ES Werbellin, reknown for producing exceptional riding horses with good minds, has repeatedly held the top spot on USEF and USDF sires list for producing dressage horses in the US. He retired sound from CDI-FEI Dressage competition at the age of 17 and continues as a tremendously successful Young Riders Mount. He himself remains sound and is the only Class 1 son of the legendary Weltmeyer standing in the US.
