This is a very striking and typey black or black/bay Hanoverian colt by the extremely versatile recently imported Hanoverian stallion Escudo II. Escudo II, as his full brother Escudo I, is known for not only his elastic gaits but his wonderful jump and fabulous temperament. He routinely stamps his offspring with those very traits. He was so very trainable he performed in the reknowned Circus of Germany and they have yet to find a replacement for him. This super sweet colt has just as an impressive a dam line with his dam being by one of the greatest event stallions of all time, Epic Win, owned and ridden by Denny Emmerson! This mare was bred to event not race, unfortunately due to an injury was never able to fully prove herself. She has been free jumped and truly loves it! She is a natural jumper with great enthusiasm and natural bascule over fences. She has always produced size and we expect this colt to be at least 16.3h at maturity. This 2009 colt should make an excellent hunter/jumper prospect. He has a stunning neck and head and his conformation is near perfection.
