Elite Hanoverian mare by Donnerschlag. Donnabella successfully completed her Mare Performance Test with the American Hanoverian Society with excellent scores in 2008. With the birth of her 2010 Sinatra Song colt, she is now an Elite Mare. She competed in a USEF/USDF recognized competition at 60 days under saddle receiving scores of 71 and 73%. Her sire Donnerschlag was the top sire of Gestut St Ludwig's stud of Germany, where he left a distinctive mark on an era of breeding. His sire, Donnerhall, was a stallion of legendary proportion. Pirola, his dam, was a full sister to the famous Pik Bube I. Donnerschlag has produced numerous approved sons, including Dream of Heidelberg, Donnerwind, Donnerluck, Donnerfurst, Diamond Dancer and Donnergold. Donnerschlag was imported in 2000 and stands at Fairwind Farm in Santa Rosa, California. Donnabella's dam Bel Etrice has become a top producing mare after competing thru M class dressage in Germany. Thru her dam Donnabella recieved the brillance of movement from Bolero and the jumping ablity of Raphael and Duft II. Donnabella has some very remarkable siblings, Hohrizon 2008 Reserve Grand Champion Region 2 adult amateur training level finals, as a four year old.
