Then we came home and tacked up to ride and take video/pictures riding at home on Oct 1st, 2016 ----**NOTE: she had not been ridden in about 8 years and the rider hadn't ridden in over a year, I think they both looked pretty awesome considering

Empey had just came back from her Irish approvals at 23 years old (some import/registry snafu from a decade ago and she had to come back for approvals at this age --- judges were VERY impressed and had great comments on her and she passed with high scores even after a 7+ hr drive!). This mare is a rockstar!

She has improved the sport horse world with many foals and is retired from breeding and we want this to be her time! Her person, her stall, her pampering, her enjoyment and hacking out etc. Empey stands a stout 15.3hh and is well built with amazing gaits, a 10 canter and an easy trot. She has a nice head set and knows her stuff! She would be a great hill-topper, or partner to dabble at some dressage lessons, and enjoy hacking out. She doesn't require anything special at this time however due to her age etc and getting back into work she would benefit from staying in shoes and having supportive supplements. She clips, baths, loads, easy keeper, great for farrier/vet etc. Been around the world, seasoned, not complicated. Still has "the look" and is ready for a no-drama home/owner/rider who also wants to enjoy retirement will still having all the bells and whistles!

*Empey still has a bit of go to her and with her knowledge and training she is not for a beginner so please be a confident intermediate rider to inquire. We are not selling her but seeking a life-time committed partnership for her! We are looking for a home that will enjoy pampering her, so be ready to do so; fly sheet/mask if needed in summer - she dislikes bugs, blanket in winter etc. She enjoys turnout so not seeking for her to be stalled all the time (but she stalls fine if there is a friend nearby) just well cared for.
