Incredibly Junior/Amateur friendly while also being more than formidable for a professional to take up the levels. He is a pleasant experience all around and a complete worker bee who loves his job. Empirio is eager to please, learns very quickly & takes a joke without missing a beat. Even with COVID, he is confirmed through 2nd level, lowest score being a 68% & is moving confidently through 3rd level in preparation to debut later this summer. His changes are coming naturally and his balance in laterals is becoming more fluid and rhythmic to watch and ride. Empirio leaves home like a champion, requires ZERO PREP, stables like a perfect gentleman and is Mr. Calm, Cool and Collected in any environment. No spook/buck/rear/bolt and he has impeccable ground manners. Lives in a small herd at night and comes in during the day, currently wearing 4 regular steel shoes, sound/healthy and requires no maintenance. He clips, ties, bathes, loads, lunges, and stands for farrier. Empirio has a lot of life experience cross-training including conditioning, hacking (alone or with others), trail riding (crosses water), hill work, ground work, pole work, grid work, and cavaletti work.
