Rio was the first foal sired by our 16.2 hand, black PRE stallion, Patriotico, who is currently competing in first level and training in second level. He won reserve champion training level dressage and took 3rd in first level dressage at the 2016 national championship. Rio's dam, Desiderata SG (Desa), is an exceptional mare with beautiful dressage type movement. Together, Desa and Patti have produced a sensational young colt. Rio combines the best of both his sire and dam, and features incredible ground covering movement, a beautiful suspended trot, and three well-balanced gaits; as well as one of the sweetest personalities we've ever seen. Already standing at 16.0, Empresario SG is a true Grand Prix prospect.
