Snickers is an elegant Dutch filly, by the imported Stallion UB40, who stands at Iron Spring Farm in PA Winner of GET OF SIRE, 2010 Dressage at Devon Breed Show. This popular stallion can be seen at www.ironspringfarm.com. Snicker’s dam is a lovely TB mare who retired from the track with sound and clean legs, continuing on to a successful career as a show, pleasure and trail horse. Snickers has inherited her wonderful qualities from both sire and dam. From UB40 she has the quality of gaits desired for Dressage or Hunters, a smooth and strong topline and a desire to lift off the ground. Her dam contributed her refinement, substance and sensitivity.

Snickers is very athletic, of modern type, with long lines and a light way of moving over the ground. This filly represents a fantastic opportunity for a serious breeder or competitor to bring a sought-after line to their breeding or training program. She carries herself with poise and grace and has three correct, forward and fluid gaits. Snicker’s carriage and gaits lend themselves to either Dressage or Hunters. Many of UB40’s offspring have crossed over to Hunters from Dressage and he has thrown very successful offspring both in Holland and in the U.S.

Snickers has a curious, sensitive and friendly personality. She loves to be groomed and enjoys contact with people. Snickers has not had much handling for the last year, but all of her handling has been kind and calm. She has had a quiet life and lives in Southern Oregon at WestWind Farms where she was born.
