Eye of the Storm is eye catching 7 year old Westfalen gelding. Even though he is jumper bred he has a very solid dressage foundation. He had splint surgery on his left front leg in July 2022 and has gradually been rehabilitated and returned to work. We have left front leg xrays taken post op along with x-rays on file of his hocks, stifles, front feet, pasterns and fetlocks. We are happy to share and disclose all vet information, xrays and surgical records for him.
He jumping up to a meter under saddle, prior his surgery. Since then he has been solely doing flat work and is schooling 3rd Level dressage movements with an easy flying change. He has a big playful goofy in your pocket personality that matches his adorable looks. When younger he could be fresh when given time off but as he matures, he seems to be really settling into himself. He currently lives outside on full turnout, which he loves, is a very easy keeper and he is remaining calm and rideable in a 3-4 rides a week program. He would be best suited to a younger or competent AdAm rider who wants a multi talented, attractive horse with a big personality on a small budget. He ties, cross ties, can be body clipped without tranq, loads onto a trailer, stands for bathing, spray bottles, hot shoeing etc.
