Far Above Par, also known as Finn, is a beautiful 7 year old black New Forest Pony. Born in 2006, out of imported parents. Although gelded, he was provisionally licensed as a stallion at three. Exceptionally easy to ride, he is currently showing 3rd and 4th level, ready to show Prix St. Georges. He pirouettes and does tempi changes with no problems. Ridden by a novice amateur, he has consistently been at the top of his classes, even against the big lofty gaited horses. He has won the Regional Adult Amateur Championships, training through third level. He recently came in sixth at 3rd level in the Region 7 CDS HOY class against the best in the state. Last year he was ranked 18th in the US at second level. He has also been the top rated New Forest Pony in dressage in the US for the last two years. He will easily earn a rider her bronze and silver, and eventually her gold! He has his permanent pony card. No soundness issues, and he would canter through a war zone and never bat an eye.
