Faramir SR is a 2022 GOV Premium gelding by Finnigan out of a Hierarch/Michelangelo mare.

Currently standing approximately 15.2, Faramir is a stunning liver chestnut with three white legs and a star, he’s a stand out and will attract attention. He’s leggy and modern, and we expect him to be a good size, finishing around 16.2 or 16.3.

At his GOV inspection, the inspectors said that he is exactly what they “want to see produced.”Their comments included that “he has a 10.0 walk,” the ideal rectangle frame, very modern type, elegant, and athletic. Faramir’s walk is regular, energetic with a clear over-track, and through his whole body. His trot is elastic, with good connection over his topline, and excellent rhythm. His canter is very scopey, rhythmic, and expressive.

Faramir is the first to greet you at the gate. He’s intelligent, inquisitive, and clearly has a sense of humour. He is as interested in people as he is in other horses, and will love having his own person. He’s been raised in a herd environment with the best of care and nutrition.

Faramir SR is sired by Finnigan (Floriscount/Don Schufro/Rubenstein I), imported to Dreamscape Farm from the Celle. Finnigan won his 14-day test with outstanding scores, with the high score of 8.96 for dressage, and a respectable 7.23 for showjumping, total 8.35. Highlights include 10.0 character/temperament, 9.5 for rideability, 9.25 outside rider, 9.0 for his trot, 9.0 walk, 8.5 canter. Floriscount has become a top producer of dressage horses, reliably passing on his super temperament, length of leg, rideability, elasticity, and incredible charisma. Finnigan is no exception. Through his dam line Finnigan brings the highly sought after blood of the International Grand Prix stallion and top sire Don Schufro, along with one of our all time favourites Rubinstein. Very successful descendants, such as Wilander-Star (by Wanderkönig), Wasco (by Waltdisney) and Lucrosus (by Lemon xx), also come from the mare line of Nada.

Diamond Daula DSF is by Diamond Stud out of the ster KWPN mare Oladaula by Hierarch (Cocktail) x Michelangelo. Diamond Stud brings the blood of legendary international Grand Prix stallions Diamond Hit and Don Schufro. Three of Daula’s siblings, through the very good mare, Oladaula, have competed at Int/GP. Daula is a sweet mare, a quick learner, and moves with a quick hind end typical of the Daula dam line. She has a beautiful and elegant face, a top quality walk with excellent over-track, and suspension to spare. She passes these qualities on to her babies.
