Ferdinand is a wonderful, honest and talented horse. He is handsome and with his beautiful, uphill Andalusian neck he is built for the dressage work. He is super comfy to ride and is light in the bridle. Ferdie has experience on the trail and in the show arena. He competed through 1st level with a young rider. Ferdie' s owner went off to college and so he spent the past few years mostly being a lawn ornament. He has been back in dressage training for a few months and is building his strength and topline up again. Ferdie is a mellow guy, so he is more of a push type ride, but he is very willing to work. He is barefoot, healthy and sound. In the right program he will be ready to kick some butt in the show arena by spring. If you want a horse who is compact, safe, talented and fun to ride (in and out of the arena), then this is the horse for you. For reference the rider in the pics and video is 5'7", so Ferdie is not a small boy. His price will increase through the winter as he continues to develop.
