Bright Future Farms is proud to present Fernando, a stunning 5 year old Oldenburg by the premium stallion Franziskus (Fidertanz). Franziskus has an excellent type with naturally uphill conformation and three excellent basic paces, and is currently competing at Grand Prix level with rider Ingrid Klimke. Fernando's mom, Dancing Queen is by stallion Diorello.

Fernando was born in April 2014, he was backed in 2017 and showed at Introductory level and Training level at two rated shows and one schooling show in 2018 where he behaved like a charm and demonstrated promising future scoring 71.75% at Intro C with an 8 for gaits for his first time out!!

Fernando was bred by Carol DiMaggio at Bright Future Farms in CA. When it comes to breeding, Carol always gives priority to temperament and quality with the goal of bringing amazingly kind horses to the world with the best chance for success in the sport of dressage. Bright future farms selects the best European bloodlines for their highest quality mares.

Fernando is a beautiful, sensitive, forward thinking, light-footed gelding. He is an amazing mover with incredible presence in the arena. He is also very sweet and personable, loves to cuddle and likes the attention.
He never had any health issues, he is fine with grooming, accepts saddle and bridle with no issues.. He is good with farrier and the vet.
He loads and unloads easily. Alone or with other horses.
He gets along well with other horses, never naughty. Can be ridden alone in the arena as well as in a crowded arena.
He has a trail experience (always with other horses) he is always good and even crosses watery creeks. He has been on trail in hand alone as well.
Fernando is waiting for his new partner to start new adventures. He would be suitable for a confident amateur rider and/or professional rider to take him up the levels!
