Bella is an extraordinarily well-bred 16.1 1/2h mare, sired by Singulord Joter, the sire of the 2017 Champion Holsteiner Stallion. Bella has been shown to the 1.35m level in Germany, and during the summer of 2017 she carried a kid up through the 1.20m jumpers with wins almost every time out. She was imported to the US in February 2018, and left a string of import/quarantine farms absolutely in love with her (that’s a first for all of the horses I’ve imported over the years!). She is a point-and-shoot type horse with the temperament and movement to take any direction. She has a stellar jump and nice trot and would excel as a medal/eq horse who could also be competitive in the hunters, or could carry an inexperienced rider into the bigger jumper rings and teach them along the way. Auto-changes and a lovely attitude on the ground and in the saddle. The riders at the farm where I kept her in Germany jokingly call her “the robot.” This is the first horse I’ve owned over there that reduced my very stoic and business-like old-school horsemen to being sentimental. I’ve been warned that this special horse needs a special home because she’s a wise old soul who deserves the best life has to offer. Absolutely phenomenal 3-ring horse and such a special brain that I would feel comfortable putting my own young daughter on her at any venue.
