Fhetzer- Feb 6, 2020
PREMIUM German Oldenburg (GOV) 16.3 h
coming 4 y.o. gelding born May 12, 2016
by Farewell III (Fidermark/ Rohsenkavilier)
out of Elite Mare Lhuau (Loerke/Bruderherz).
Shown after one and a half months under
saddle since returning from the breaker. Fhetzer's sire, 17 h. Farewell III was a Bundeschampion, best
breeding stallion in the Nürnberg Burgpokal placing 3rd and
2011 winner in the Grand Prix Final of the German Championships
for Professional Riders in Hagen a.T.W. with Markus Gribbe in the
saddle. Farewell III has won fifteen first places in
advanced level up to Grand Prix. An outstanding walk, high
rideability and a sweet disposition are the outstanding traits
passed on by Farewell III. His sire Fidermark was one of the most
significant sons of the trademark stallion, Florestan. Fidermark, a
Bundeschampion trained to Grand Prix, went down in breeding
history for his offspring in Rhineland and Westphalia.
Fhetzer's dam, Elite Mare Lhuau was named the Champion 3 & 4
year old mare of her Hanoverian inspection with highest score of
the day. She received a 7.33 with a 9 for the head, and 8's for
typiness/femininity, correctness of gaits, and impulsion in the
trot. She received a 7.25 for her MPT score. Fhetzer's full sisiter
was named the top foal at the 2012 large AHS inspection at
Hilltop Farm. The head of the German Hanoverian Verband said
"10 for gaits", "German Elite Foal Auction quality" and "I would
buy her and bring her back to Germany with me." Michael
Bragdell who handled EM Lhuau said watching the filly go gave
him the chills, she was so good.

Fhetzer is tall- much taller
than his medium sized dam. He has a
very good, active hindquarter, a good
sit down and an uphill front end. He
is an absolute sweetheart to work with
and has a quiet demeaner. He has advanced quickly
in his training.

Rolling Stone Farm

Warmblood breeder for 44 years. Owner of large Oldenburg (GOV) and Hanoverian breeding farm in eastern PA. Young, well started dressage horses and occasional hunter prospects always available. USDF Bronze, Silver, Gold, Sapphire, Ruby and Platinum Breeder of Distinction. I have produced 39 Elite Mares and Elite Mare Candidates, and 3 State Premium Mares for the Hanoverian Society, and 32 Special Premium mares and 17 Verbands Premium mares, 191 Premium Foals and 48 Foals of Distinction for the German Oldenburg Verband. I have produced 9 licensed stallions, including the fully licensed and approved stallion named Shakespeare RSF (winner of the 2009 70 day stallion test), a licensed stallion named Somer Hit, 3 licensed stallions in 2012 (one from the first foal crop of Shakespeare RSF- Shotgun, also Dheputy and a stallion in Germany), Fhitzgerald and Sir James (both imported from Germany and successfully completed the 70 day stallion test here in the US), another licensed stallion in 2014 named Shavane- the second licensed Shakespeare RSF son who is out of homebred EM Rheporter (Royal Prince/Weltmeyer). In 2015 another Shakespeare son was licensed- Shortstop, who was Grand Champion at a USDF breed show in 2015. I have bred four top 6 FEI Young Horse National Champions and multiple HOY winners in hand and in dressage, and four winners of the Young Hunters Under Saddle at Hunter Devon. We stand Shakespeare RSF (Sandro Hit/Arrian). I estimate I have bred about 450 foals to date, and I also sell young stock and up to 20-25 riding horses a year. Some of my horses are fourth and fifth generation from my own breeding program. I started out in hunters and jumpers and then rode dressage up to the PSG level, not competing much due to family and farm commitments. I finally received her USDF Bronze and Silver medals in 2018. My homebred Hanoverians and Oldenburgs have been top ten in national dressage rankings and have won many under saddle and in hand classes at many shows such as Dressage at Devon (Grand Champion 2011 and Reserve Grand Champion 2021), NEDA (Grand Champion 2021 and 2022) and the hunter show at Devon. I have produced numerous champions and reserve champions at many in hand shows and has been in the top 8 ranking for USDF Dressage Breeder of the Year since 2013, leading that category in 2020 and 2022. I was the 2016 and 2018 USDF Dressage Sport Horse Breeding Breeder of the Year and have been in the top 16 since 2013. I have been the USEF Dressage Breeder of the Year every year 2014-2023 and was 2nd in that category from 2011-2013 and in 2022. In 2021 I was also the USEF Dressage Breeding Breeder of the Year and was in the top 4 for the USEF Dressage Sport Horse Breeder of the Year 2013- 2022. My greatest pleasure has been breeding suitable horses for the amateur market in the disciplines of dressage or hunter with an emphasis on rideability and movement.
