Sired by the outstanding stallion Fidertanz, Fidellio carries the mark of his sire in his wonderful character, extraordinary movement, tremendous presence, and supreme rideability. Over the past few years, Fidertanz offspring have had unparalleled success on the international stage, and this horse will be no exception.

In 2014, his first season of competition, Fidellio did not disappoint. He handled each new experience with the sensibility and maturity of a much more seasoned horse. Furthermore, he produced outstanding results: with scores of up to 80.6%, it was no surprise to see him take home the Third Place title at the USDF Finals.

Whether at home or away, Fidellio is the consummate gentleman. His demeanor is quiet yet keen; his work ethic inexhaustible; and despite his laid-back nature, he is very sharp and responsive to the aids. Additionally, he is a very quick study. Fidellio’s education has been meticulous and comprehensive, and he is now starting to build off of his wonderful foundation. He is currently schooling third-level—his lateral work is beautiful and comes easily. Likewise, he has a natural ability for collected work, and willingly demonstrates potential for piaffe and passage. Fidellio has also been started over fences and shows great potential in that arena as well.
