Premium Oldenburg colt by Finery (Furstenball x Diamond Hit/Sandro) out of Dornish Queen (De Niro x Wertherson/Admiral II). Donnerhall represented in this boy 3 times! Born April 21st, 2018 and expected to mature around 16.3, "Forrest" is a lovely colt with a royal pedigree and a sweet in your pocket type personality. His temperament cannot be beat; he walked off the trailer at his busy inspection and didn't bat an eyelash at the commotion. He was awarded Premium status with high praise for his walk and balanced canter, staying calm and collected despite being surrounded by nervous mares and their foals. He has been body clipped, trailers well and leads like a well behaved adult horse.

This colt oozes talent, grace, and controlled power in every step. He possesses a huge swinging walk, a powerful trot with superb hind leg activity, and a big floating canter that is uphill and light. Even at his young age watching him move is breathtaking as he has superb balance with a natural, correct flying change.

Conformationally, this colt is straight and correct in all of his limbs, with a short broad back, and a beautifully set neck. Clean, cool joints and strong feet.

His sire, Finery, is a son of Furstenball out of a Dimaond Hit/Sandro mare who is up and coming and showing wonderful potential for the upper-levels of sport. He placed 3rd in the USDF six year old championships in 2017 under Michael Bragdell and continues to place well as he progresses. He has stamped Forrest with athleticism, power, and wonderful temperament. His first foal crop in the US was nearly 100% awarded premium and were consistently top and elite foals at their respective inspections.

Forrest's dam, Dornish Queen, has a royal pedigree all her own as a daughter of De Niro; possessing all of his grace, lightness of foot, amateur-friendly temperament, and stellar gaits. Damsire of Wertherson and granddam sire of Admiral II contributes champion bloodlines in all generations.
