Fioreno “Fino” is a 5 year old black Dutch warmblood gelding. He is by the renowned jumping stallion Escudo II, who was also known for his high trainability, and is registered with the KWPN-NA. He is just at 16h now and still has some growing to do, though he has a refined build and would be well suited to a smaller rider or junior with a trainer. He is barefoot and never had soundness issues. Fino is an extremely personable horse, and loves attention. He is straightforward to ride and enjoys working. He has smooth gaits and has started some lateral work. Starting on changes, and has them consistently over a pole. He loves jumping and is as honest as they come, and never gets quick to the fences. He is very careful and rarely pulls rails. He is schooling up to 3’, and shows tremendous ability and scope, and could easily excel as a hunter, eq mount, jumper, or eventer. He is still growing into his long legs but he is showing great form and lovely natural balance. He is great in new places, not spooky, and never offered to buck, rear, or bolt under saddle. He hacks out, rides bareback, and has been XC schooling. A junior rider took him to his first jumper show last year where he was consistently in the ribbons. Great for farrier/vet, loads, clips, bathes. Mild cribber, controllable with miracle collar. I can’t say enough good things about this horse. I would keep him for myself if I had room.
