Born May 28, 2012, Fire is a super athlete in the making. He was bred to be my personal dressage pony, but I have too many horses for one person to keep up with. He shows a real aptitude for jumping and hops over the bushes in his pasture with ease. His sire is Goldhills Most Wanted LOM/LOM/AOE, a beautiful 13 hand section B welsh with the longest stride I have seen on a welsh pony. Fire's dam, Ivy, is a 16 hand Premium rated Oldenburg mare sired by the 4 star stallion Ideal. Ivy has produced 2 stunning Oldenburg foals previous to Fire, Dragon Fly who was tied for top scoring foal of the 2009 tour nationally, and Dahlia, who as a yearling was declared to have perfect conformation and a once in a lifetime horse by Christian Schacht, the Oldenburg judge on the 2012 tour. I expect Fire to mature over 14 hands, and have a large body like his dam. He is a dramatic colored bay, with a dark mark on his nose, and no white at all. He has all the athletic ability of his warmblood side and the darling looks of the welsh, with strong straight legs and a wonderful engaging presence. He is smart, sweet, and takes new experiences in stride.
