UPDATED AUGUST 2020. Fleurette is a 16.1H, 8 yo dark bay Hanoverian mare. She is located in Gurnee, IL (Chicago suburbs). She is currently showing at training level and schooling all of the second level movements with her trainer Wendy Sanders. She comes from several generations of State Premium Mares and Elite Stallions in Germany. Both her sire and her dam were imported from Germany. Her sire is Class I Elite Hanoverian Stallion Fabuleux (by Fabriano/ Augustinus XX/ Absatz) and her dam is Donna de Nira (by De Niro/ Donnerhall). She was bred and foaled out in Kentucky by Dr Barbara Schmidt, who has been selecting and breeding good-minded amateur-friendly Hanoverians for 30 years.
At his 100-day stallion test in Germany, Fleurette’s sire Fabuleux was awarded 9s for his walk, trot, temperament, rideability and willingness to work, and a 10 for his canter. He received the outstanding dressage score of 130.45 points. Fabuleux’s sire is the renowned Fabriano, Champion of his 100-day stallion test and acclaimed for siring both outstanding dressage and jumping qualities. Fabuleux’ dam, SPS Auguste, was a very successful broodmare, producing four State Premium mares and another licensed stallion, all full siblings to Fabuleux. She represents six generations of State Premium mares.
Fleurette’s dam, SPS Donna de Nira, received the excellent overall inspection score of 8 at her Mare Inspection in Germany. She is a full sister to AHS Elite Hanoverian stallion DeLaurentis. Her sire is the outstanding dressage stallion De Niro by Donnerhall. De Niro is an extremely popular sire in Germany due to his outstanding movements, extremely high rideability and beautiful type. De Niro was named Hanoverian stallion of the year in 2008 and has over 1300 offsprings registered with the Hanoverian Society.
In 2014, Fleurette was shown in hand in the AHS Two-Year-Old Filly Futurity at Oakwood Farm. Her above average scores for head, neck and type earned her the score of 71.6. She was started slowly under saddle at 3 years old and was shown in a few local dressage schooling shows as a 4 year old. In July 2016, she scored 62% at Introductory level test B at the Firecracker Schooling Show which earned her 2nd place out of 6 horses. In September 2016, she scored 60% at Introductory level test C at the Tower Hill Dressage Schooling Show. And in October 2016, she scored 69% at Introductory level test C again, at the CW Equestrian Center Schooling Show, where she won her class. Fleurette adapts well to new environments and stays very calm at shows.
In Spring 2017, she was bred to Oldenburg stallion Rashka and produced a beautiful colt. She was weaned off her colt and put back under saddle in September 2018.
Fleurette has no vices, she loves people and has excellent ground manners. Fleurette has her USEF lifetime registration and has a horse ID number with USDF. She is up to date on all vaccines, farrier, worming, etc. I have owned Fleurette since she was 6 days old and would love to find her a good forever home!
