Champagne is owned and bred by Full Moon Farm, a proven breeder of top quality norwegian fjords for sport. Champagne was started by and remains in full training with a USDF gold medalist. She has spent two winter seasons in Florida and has an exceptional show record. She has been shown extensively at USDF recognized dressage shows, most recently scoring a 67% at the USDF Regional Championships in her open championship class. She has been shown through first level with scores in the mid-60s and at training level with scores to 70%. She is schooling all of the second level movements. Additionally, Champagne has competed at unrecognized horse trials, hunter paces, and hacks out alone or with others. She is sensible and not spooky. She would be very well suited for an amateur or junior rider. Fjords are known for their soundness and sturdiness and Champagne is no exception. She can carry a taller rider with ease. Her current rider and trainer is 5'6". Champagne has also been evaluated through the NFHR Evaluation system and has scored a blue ribbon (highest prize possible) in the advanced english division.
