Freddie is a 15 year old 16.2 hand draft cross ( Shire x TB ) looking for his next partner. He has three comfortable gaits, canter being his best, as well as forward thinking while still being sensible with a sweet personality. He likes to work, and maintains an honest attitude with no buck/bolt/rear. He has a broad skill set and enjoys variety with a background in Dressage, Jumping/Eventing, hacking and trail. He has spent the last two years in a Dressage program and is a solid first level, schooling second level movements including shoulder in and simple changes, as well as we have played with the flying change. Outside of his flat work he enjoys pole, cavaletti, and jumping. With a tune up he could excel in the H/J ring or even eventing. After a good ride he enjoys a walk around the property either solo or with a buddy, and has a good time playing with trail obstacles. Freddie has attended schooling shows, his last being at Devonwood and was well behaved away from home as well as in the ribbons. In addition he has also been to a horsemanship/desensitizing clinic with his AA owner. Great ground manners and ties, cross ties, clips, bathes, loads/trailers, stands for vet/farrier and UTD on all routine care. Freddie is best suited towards an intermediate Jr/Yr or AA rider looking for a partner to bond with and enjoy either competitively or just for fun.
