Frodo is talented, confident, and brave, and ready to find a partner for his next adventure. With three lovely gaits, this beautiful gelding has shown successfully at 3rd level (69+% in his first try under an FEI 4* judge!) and showing great aptitude for the collection & extension required for upper level work.

He has spent the last four years with a lovely amateur, but they just weren't a great match. She has found her dream partner and now Frodo is looking for his! His ideal person is an ambitious rider with a balanced seat. He prefers a forward ride and wouldn't thrive with a timid beginner. He loves to work hard in a regular program, but he has proven himself to be just fine after some time off (we're in Canada, sometimes it's just too cold to ride!). He has excellent manners in the stable, super for the farrier.

Over the past couple of months, Frodo has proven himself over and over in new locations, with amateur and junior riders alike. He is reliable in the indoor and outdoor arenas, enjoys to be ridden out exploring (like most horses, sometimes a friend gives him extra courage in new places). He is not spooky, no buck bolt or rear.
