Futura is an elegant, big moving mare with correct paces, excellent technique over fences and a very bright future.

Backed at three, Futura then produced two outstanding ISR/Old foals for her breeder, and was put back under saddle at 5. Currently in full work, she shows correct, elastic gaits with a lot of suppleness through the body. Good motor and is lovely in the connection. Excellent rideability and has made super progress even under an amateur rider.

Futura has always been a natural over fences; she is very keen, yet always maintains an easy rhythm down the line. Ditches, banks, water complexes — she loves it all!

This is a sensible, adaptable, healthy, and sound mare. She lives out year-round and is maintained on very little grain. She is self-possessed and loves to hack out on her own. She travels well and has gone to inspections and competitions offsite. She’s been to schooling shows and events, and has done a bit of foxhunting too!

This mare can easily double-duty as competition mount and family-friendly all-rounder.

We think such a versatile athlete would shine as an eventer. She also has the style and easy rhythm to excel as a straight hunter.
