****UPDATE:**** The newly christened "Galatea RHR" not only won her RPSI inspection 9/13, but scored Gold Premium (8.3) with an 8.4 in movement!! A future star for sure!
This filly was born 5/28/12 -- big, healthy and bold. Her sire is "Goldmaker" a cremello TB who is finally showing what he can do -- not only has he competed well in hunters and jumpers, Goldmaker became the only cremello TB ever to complete the North American Stallion Testing! He finished with good results and his foals o/o fully approved mares will be branded, inspected and granted full RPSI papers. Goldmaker's sire, "Glitter Please" competed in FEI dressage under his ammie rider. This filly's dam, Welkene, is an own daughter of Weltmeyer and o/o the famous Bolero son "Batido". Her pedigree is the perfect mix for dressage or fancy hunters, since Goldmaker's sire, Glitter Please was successful up to 4th Level dressage (ridden by an ammie). In addition, Welkene is from a line of producers. Not only is Weltmeyer proving to be a fantastic broodmare sire, but Welkene's tail line seems to be outstanding as well. Both she and her half-sister (same dam) have both produced inspection champions and foals who were listed in the top 12-15% of the NATION for their foaling year. In fact this is Welkene's second foal in a row to win it's inspection.
When Gai is finished with her performance duties she will be a valuable addition to any WB breeding program, as she is eligable for the MMB in several different respected registries AND she will produce a palomino foal 50% of the time when bred to a solid stallion.
