Garbo is a 2007 Trakehner mare branded with the double moose antlers and purebred papers. She is the only OSB bucksin mare in the Trakehner registry. She is by the International Grand Prix show jumper Horalas (ridden by Hap Hansen). Horalas is also approved in Germany and recently, at the age of 22, approved by the Oldenburg Registry. Dam lines are FEI Dressage and racing. Garbo was shown in hand as a youngster. Bathes, hauls (she has gone all over the place in the trailer, hops right in), clips, bathes, blankets, etc. Nice temperament and loves attention. Ponies off an ATV, lives in electric fence. Green under saddle, but has basics down, with some leg yields and side passes and such. Her 2014 foal was just weaned and I am starting her back up under saddle. Garbo is a fast learner and smart. She did get kicked in the right hock as a foal and there was a lesion there which appears to have healed (I have current digital xrays 10/23/14) and she is negative on flexion tests and has never had any lameness issues with it, but she may need maintenance on it in the future.

She is a great producer and so far has produced better than herself each time, both in conformation as well as movement. Both her 2013 colt and this year's colt have been so brave and outgoing. They have both done things by themselves and ventured far from Mom. She is gene tested and is Cr/n, A/A, E/e. Her lines have all been amateur friendly, easy to start, easy going, SMART horses. Garbo’s half sister (same dam) just took 3rd place on her Dressage score at her second outing at Open Novice. This was also only her second show! Garbo's half brother just sold to Ireland as a stallion prospect. Current on everything (ie. teeth, shots, worming, etc.)
