“Genius MVS” is a 17.2 hand, 12 year old gelding by Uphill x Flemmingh. He is a super 3rd/4th level schoolmaster offered for sale.

Genius is a flying change machine, is comfortable and easy to ride, knows half passes, tempi’s, etc. His best match would be an ambitious AA or Jr/Yr looking for a nice horse to learn the ropes of Dressage on and be competitive in the ring. Genius is the same horse on and off property and has an extensive successful show record through PSG. Genius sustained an injury to his RF leg in the tail end of 2021. He has completely rehabbed, has been cleared by the vet and is back to full work now. Because of this and a recent soundness exam, we think he would be most comfortable as a 3rd/4th level schoolmaster. He is completely sound for riding, however he will not pass flexions on a PPE. We feel he would absolutely be suitable for someone wanting to get their bronze medal and still has lots to teach someone.

Genius is a good boy, and wants to do the right thing. He can be “quirky” on the ground and we wouldn’t recommend him for a total beginner because of this. Under saddle, he is pretty straight forward and easy. He would be super for someone wanting to learn flying changes, half passes, etc.
