GFF Nils 2004 13.2h+ registered Norwegian Fjord gelding.He was acquired on 11/24/15 from Glick Family Farm, as one of a group of 11 horses. His sire is Bayshore Laurel and his dam is Bayshore’s Ikea. Nils has had four months of professional training. He has three nice gaits and is going very well walk/trot/canter under saddle. He has also been started over ground poles.
Since he only has a few months of training, Nils is not for a beginner. With time and experienced training, Nils will make a fun and talented riding horse. He has an affectionate temperament and a desire to please, as well as the athletic ability to eventually perform well in a variety of disciplines.
Nils leads, cross-ties, picks up his feet, clips, bathes, stands for grooming, and good for the vet and farrier.
Nils is healthy, barefoot and has no bad habits that we are aware of. He is fine in the barn (with turnout), or can live outside 24/7.
Nils is UTD on all vaccinations, has a current Coggins test, and has been trimmed by the farrier every 4-5 weeks since we got him. He saw the dentist on 7/12/16 and had his teeth floated. He is registered with the NFHR, DNA tested for parentage, and micro-chipped.
