Hanoverian breeders should take note that this is one of the last daughters of Glorioso Noir; this filly is impeccably well bred on both the top and bottom of her pedigree which brings valuable G-line blood close up through her sire, Glorioso Noir, and also through her damline. In total Glimmer's pedigree goes back to Goldfisch II eight times, and includes famous Goldfisch II descendants such as Grosse Liebe, Grundstein I, Goldstern, Gotthard, Grande, and Graphit. Her dam also brings in notable bloodlines such as Regazzoni, Rubinstein I, Davignon I, Donnerhall, Pik Bube I, Werther, and Argentan I. Glimmer boasts an unbroken pure Hanoverian damline that goes back over 200 years!
Both of Glimmers parent's were unusually unflappable and intelligent, and she is very much the same. No foal has ever made us laugh as much as she does > so full of curiosity, playfulness, and joy, combined with incredible confidence.
She shows three quality gaits that will serve her well in both the dressage and hunter rings. Her powerful trot has suspension in spades, and she shows natural talent for lateral work. She has exceptionally correct conformation with a powerful hip, long legs with good bone. As a breeding candidate she has the potential to be a phenomenal dressage broodmare bringing a strong G-line foundation to compliment well with the popular modern stallions of today. She will head to training in the spring if not sold by then.
SIRE: Glorioso Noir had suspended gaits and excellent conformation that made him equally talented for dressage and jumping. He completed his 100-day stallion testing in Germany and finished in 11th place out of 40 stallions, placing equally well in both dressage and jumping. Glorioso competed in the young horse dressage classes as well as in the hunters and jumpers with a junior rider. He was the 2007 AHS Regular Working Hunter Champion. Awarded top ribbons in the rated hunter and jumper divisions at AA shows.
DAM: Rea's pedigree is an impressive mix of top dressage sires with a splash of influential jump sires to add some versatility. Perhaps most noteworthy is Rea's dam's production record. EM Dulcinee produced 11 offspring with at least two competing to the the FEI level of dressage, two champion foals, and several elite mares, including Rea who scored a 7,22 in her MPT.
