Friday is a beautiful buckskin colt sired by the late Trakehner stallion Steinburg. Steinburg was approved as a stallion in Germany and completed his performance requirements in Germany. Even though Steinburg was underutilized as a sire he has produced several great offspring that are doing well at upper levels of performance and as premium breeding stock. Friday is very athletic and quite a looker, you get athleticism, great color and brains all in one package! Elastic walk, trot with good suspension and reach and a canter with nice hind leg separation and uphillness. Great conformation with a neck that won't stop. Could mature into a stallion prospect or be gelded to suit. He is very quiet and well behaved so I haven't cut him yet. Should mature around 17H with good bone, as a long yearling he is already 16H. Heavy Dressage background top and bottom. Has been through the jump chute and seems to enjoy it and has an aptitude for it with good scope. Loads, clips, blankets, bathes, lunges and is starting saddling and bridling work as well. Very smart and the kind of horse that loves to work and wants to please. Purebred Trakehner papers with the ATA and Lifetime USEF registration. Started showing locally just to get out and about and took 3rd in a class of 20 halter QH's and Paints!
