Cartier R is a direct son of Cassini I. Cassini I is the son of Capitol I, one of the greatest Holsteiner show jumping sires and father of forty approved stallions. With a breeding index of 182, he headed the FN jumping stallion ratimgs. Capitol’s dam, Folia, showed great jumping potential and produced the licensed stallions Latus I and II, Capitol II, and famous daughter U- Capitola. Cassini I has been at least as successful breeding, with a series of offspring active in the international sport such as Ingmar, Berlin, Coco, Cavalor Cumano and Carino. Cassini I is highly sought after sire of performance horses throughout Europe and the world. His offspring are in great demand and have proven themselves in the toughest competitive arenas. Dam Picarda I is by Acorado I who won the 1997 Adelheidsdorf stallion performance test, twice receiving 10s for his exceptional jumping ability. In 1999 and 2000, he won the Bundeschampionat. Acorado I left behind almost 20 approved sons to continue his legacy. Cartier R brings an exciting and proven pedigree to North America.
Norentina is a 47 bonit, imported mare. She consistently produces high quality foals. They are typically correct and very tall.
Her sire, Lorentin I was trained by Wolfgang Schade up to Grand Prix level and competed at CDI's in Neumunster, Hamburg, Oslo, Hickstead, and Rotterdam. As a youngster he competed at the Bundeschampionate. In 2006 Lorentin was retired from competition due to a meniscus injury. Lorentin had nine licensed offspring, including the 1999 Holsteiner Licensing champion Lusello and Lindberg, Limoncelli I and II, Lento, Laurentin, Lavari, Lanzett and Loreto. At the time the newly licensed Lindberg sold at auction to Sweden for 140,000 euro. Lorentin has three full brothers which competed in dressage and show jumping in Denmark. Lorentin's most famous offspring include Grand Prix horses Lento (Hans Peter Mohr, Hubertus Schmidt), Liebling II (Anna Ross Davies, Carl Hester, Yvonne Losos de Muniz), Lydianus (Charlotte Haid Bondergaard) and Loverboy (Jenny Lang).
Norentina's damsire is the illustrious Caretino, sire of Casall. The bay Caletto II – Metellus son from the stem 826 revealed his qualities at the stallion performance test, where he received a jumping index of 145 points. He went on to win numerous young jumper classes showing his outstanding jumping technique. At 5 and at 6 years old, Caretino participated in the Bundeschampionate under Thomas Scheming. Bo Kristoffersen took over the ride on him a year later and commenced competing at Grand Prix and Nations Cup level. They accumulated 40 placings at S level together.Although he produced mainly jumpers, he also sired some good dressage horses, including Cockney, who won the 6 year old title at the Bundeschampionate with Nadine Capellmann before going on to compete successfully at Grand Prix. His son, Carpaccio won the 1994 stallion test at Medingen. The stallion Concord has wins up to Grand Prix dressage. On the WBFSH sire rankings for 2014, he is in 18th place. On the 2015 rankings, he has moved to 14th with his points earners headed up by the mighty Casall.
