Haddington is a lovely 2 year old dark registered and branded Hanoverian gelding. With his dark coat, long legs, excellent conformation and white highlights he is stunning to look at. Haddington has three correct, fluid gaits and a kind, willing character. His legs are straight and clean and he has excellent quality feet. He has a large effortless walk, an active stylish trot and a ground covering uphill canter. Haddington has a lovely neck connection with very good natural muscling and a beautiful refined head. He has had extensive professional ground handling and is wonderful to work with. At two years of age you can clip his ears and head, bath him easily, cross tie him, trim his feet, load him solo on a trailer, bandage all 4 legs, he can walk through obstacle courses, over tarps, is easy to braid and blanket, when exposed to stimulus and loud noises remains calm and trusting. When he is ready to be started under saddle, he will make the ideal horse for someone wishing for a true partner to develop with. With his correct conformation, beautiful head and fluid gaits he could also excel competing in in-hand classes. He is expected to mature around 16.3hh+.

His imported Hanoverian sire Harvard (Hohenstein x Cardinal xx) is a lovely dressage horse who has produced multiple Licensed sons, numerous State Premium Mares, Elite Auction Foals, a Bundeschampion, a finalist at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses, successful International Advanced Dressage competitors including a Grand Prix Dressage horse, in 2008 he dam-sired the Champion Filly of Germany, and has sired Foals of Distinction, Champion Hanoverian Foals and large amounts of Premium Foals. A strong transmitter of type, Harvard’s are stamped with his elegant head and convey his kind, sensible disposition. Harvard modern in type, is the sire of talented dressage and hunter progeny. One of his greatest hallmarks is the wonderful temperament that he passes onto his offspring. At three years of age he successfully completed his 100 Day Stallion Performance Test at Neustadt-Dosse, Germany, scoring a perfect 10 for Temperament and straight 9's for Character, Willingness and Ability to Work, Constitution and Rideability.

His imported Hanoverian dam Dornenprinzessin (Dornenkoenig x Wolkenstein II) is equally talented and comes from an extremely successful and proven dam line. Dornenprinzessin enjoyed much success in Young Horse classes in Germany prior to her importation and schooled up to 4th Level prior to retiring to her breeding career. She had impressive movement and eye-catching presence in the ring but was safe and rideable enough to be enjoyed by her Ad.Am. owner. Her sire Dornenkoenig excelled in sport to Advanced Level and was a much sought after direct Donnerhall son. Dornenprinzessin is the only Dornenkoenig daughter in North America! Her bloodline (D x W) pairing has been extremely successful. Dornenprinzessin’s brother is the drop dead gorgeous licensed stallion Blue Hors Dancetto (by Dancier). Their mother Watch Me is also a full sister to the mare Wedina who also directly produced Paul Schockemohle’s exciting young licensed stallion Danciano (by Dancier).

With Haddington’s direct dam line excelling at the top of breeding and sport in Germany and Denmark, he is a promising young athlete. He has been professionally cared for since birth with regular assessments by an Equine Nutritionist, regular Fecal Checks and is up to date on all vaccinations, has a current negative Coggins (EIA) test, fully dewormed, farrier trims and has had his teeth recently checked. With his long straight legs and stylish good looks he will be a very attractive competition horse in the future. We are happy to assist with professionally starting him under saddle.
