Hanna-Dessa is a forward mare who will make a fun partner for someone looking for an athletic horse that loves to jump! Originally purchased from the breeder for a teenage girl, Hanna schooled over fences and had some dressage training. Between college and the pandemic, her young rider never got to show her, then, starting her career, didn't have time for Hanna so she was bought back by her breeder. Hanna is now focusing on developing her considerable talent in jumping.

Hanna's lovely movement and correct conformation qualified her for the Governor General's Cup class for 3 year old Sport Horses at The Royal Winter Fair. Although she has only shown a few times, she has been off property schooling and handles being in new environments very well.

Hanna is bold and brave and never refuses a jump. She's been exposed to many shapes, colours and types of jumps and never shies away regardless of the capability of the rider. At home the focus of training has been correctness of the jump and use of her body. She is currently jumping 2'6". In the past with her teenage rider, she was jumped up to 3' 4" and easily free jumped over 4 feet. She really enjoys jumping and is very surefooted on all types of footing.

Hanna is not marish. She is good for the vet and the farrier and loads and trailers well. She is barefoot and has no soundness issues. She has a solid build and with her uphill conformation appears taller than her measured height. Hanna does crib and it is managed with a crib collar. She requires twice yearly dental care.
