This handsome 4.5 year old, 17+ hand, gelding is a Trakhener X Percheron cross who has been undersaddle for a year and a half. He was broken by a professional and then ridden on backcountry roads by an Amish man. Since then, he has been in training with a young professional. Harley is a lovely light mover - for such a big boy - with great gaits, including a rollicking big canter. There are glimpses of dressage horse grandeur in his work – an area in which he could truly excel. Yet his quiet, rhythmical canter and lovely trot would make him a great choice as a foxhunter, since he is a balanced comfortable couch, and good for the derriere on those long rides!
