3 Diamonds Farm is proud to present for a client: Haynesome! Fondly called Beau in the barn, this 10 year old (turning 11 years old in May), 16.3hh, Thoroughbred gelding is a lovely event horse in the making already! Bred in Kentucky, Beau is a stunning chestnut with two white socks and a warmblood build. He comes from very sporty breeding with noteworthy sires on both sides of his pedigree, including Gone West, Seattle Slew, Northern Dancer, and the great Secretariat. With such impressive breeding, it is no wonder that Beau is such a talented jumper and so fancy on the flat. Beau raced a total of twelve times, only coming in second once and third twice, earning a total of $7,198. Sourced as a talented prospect, Beau last raced in 2017, and has been enjoying his new life as a sport horse ever since!

Beau is a lovely event horse in the making with ability to shine in the dressage court too. He is easily schooling novice level eventing and first level dressage with the talent for so much more! He even has a natural/auto lead change when on course, which could easily be developed for a clean dressage change. While Beau doesn't have rated show experience yet, he will be out showing in rated horse trials this spring and there is no doubt he will be racking up the ribbons with his beautiful movement and impressive scope. He just went to a jumper show and had a lovely round at 2’6”, after being the best boy in a very busy warmup ring (where he was almost run over). Beau could also switch careers and would make a lovely show jumper, fox hunter, or pure dressage horse. Beau has mastered his leg yields and is working on other lateral movements, like haunches in and shoulder in. He has beautiful reach up front and developing great sit behind.

Beau is easy in the barn and great in turnout with good ground manners. While not for a beginner, as he is scopey with a pleasant motor, Beau would be perfect for a good riding, confident ammy, or teen with a sense of humor to appreciate Beau’s fun-loving personality. That person should love to jump just as much as Beau or want to find a dance partner like Beau to shine in any dressage court! He would also be great for a pro looking for their next up and coming star. Fun to produce and a wonderful, sweet horse. No maintenance. No vices. Just four shoes. Up to date on everything.
