Hendrix (born 4/14/23) is a stunning dark bay colt with lots of chrome and 3 quality gaits. His gorgeous type, along with his bold yet sweet demeanor, easily make him a barn favorite. He has substantial bone and is a big boy - we are expecting him to easily mature to 16.3h. His pedigree has an amazing combination of Dressage and Jumper blood, making it possible for this colt to go in any direction!

Hendrix’s sire, Hero BHS, is a 2012 top licensed KWPN stallion (Cover Story x Prestige VDL x Matterhorn), standing 16.3h. Hero’s combination of Dressage and Jumper blood gives an amazing canter (scores of 9.5) and desire to work. His temperament is incredible.
Hero’s long lines and tremendous expression combined with his intelligence and rideability have made him a judge’s favorite, both for registry approval and sport, scoring 9’s for gaits, type and rideability from both. Reserve Champion USEF 4-year-old with no score below 80%. He acquired many scores since, in regular performance, well above 70%. Hero BHS is a promising young stallion who is not only desirable as a stallion model, but a performance horse as well. He will be showing GP this year. He sired his first crop of foals in 2020.

Hendrix’s dam, Rogue Rhythm, is a gorgeous black Rotspon x Sandro Hit mare standing 16.2h. Rogue was awarded Premium and Elite status at her GOV inspection as a foal. She has not been shown, but has 3 quality gaits and uphill conformation.

Hendrix will be inspected and registered with the German Oldenburg Verband.
