Henri is a lovely rising three year old American Warmblood gelding with a heart of gold and an unshakably quiet nature. He's been a joy to work with since day one, with no bad behaviors whatsoever. He's happy in the pasture or in his stall, stands relaxed in the crossties, loads like a champ, and is a perfect gentleman for the vet and farrier.

This lovely youngster was named Reserve Champion at his inspection. He has excellent conformation, clean legs, and strong feet.

Henri is brought into the barn and handled daily and worked very lightly several days a week. Because he's young, our goal at this point is merely to create a strong sense of trust and a good work ethic, and to allow him to accumulate short, positive experiences in the arena. He's accepted every phase of his training with complete willingness and never a hint of resistance, misbehavior, or spookiness.

Henri is healthy and happy, with no history of illness, injury, or lameness. He had an excellent pre-purchase exam in July 2017 with perfectly clean x-rays, which are available for review. Currently Henri is around 15.3 hh, and I expect he'll mature around 16.1 hh.

Henri promises to be an excellent partner for a rider who wants a calm, honest youngster in the barn and under saddle.
