Henrietta is a beautiful 16hh 2012 mare by Contango (Contender) out of North Run (TB). With her breeding and athleticism she is an excellent broodmare prospect, but also could make a competitive show mare with the right rider!
Henrie is a stunning mover on the flat and has three balanced and smooth gaits. Over fences she is talented and catty with an excellent hind end. Quick and careful with scope to spare, she shows lots of potential in the jumper world. Despite her smaller size she does not ride small and takes up the leg well. Rider is 5'8 for reference.
Henrie is not suitable if you’re a timid rider looking for a packer or want a horse to build confidence on. However, if you’re an experienced and confident rider looking for an athletic and talented prospect with potential to be competitive at 1.20+, she may be the right match. Yes, she can be spooky and anxious, but she is not dangerous. She doesn’t bolt or flip or try to send you flying. She does get strong to the fences and needs a soft yet tactful rider to settle her and work through any antics.
On the ground Henrie is well mannered and crossties, clips including ears and legs, stands for farrier, trailers, etc with minimal fuss. Has been turned out alone or with a friend, but also doesn't mind spending time in a stall.
As a broodmare prospect she has no known breeding limitations. WFFS untested. She is registered with the KWPN-NA foalbook, however I do not have her original papers, only a photocopy. A duplicate copy can be requested from the organization.
