Hermes (9 yrs old, 17hh) is a talented, sweet and safe KWPN gelding looking for his new dancing partner. He has three stunning gaits with lots of power from behind, suppleness and elasticity. He has a trot for a 10 with plenty of swing, knee action in the front leg and power from behind. His trot not only looks amazing but feels it too: he sits very comfortably and has a light and steady contact to the hand. To go along with that, Hermes has a powerful, uphill canter with lots of reach from the hind leg under the body. He is training the Prix St George level at home and can do flying changes to both sides, half passes and working pirouettes. He also bodes a correct, rhythmic walk with a clear beat and good reach from behind.
Hermes will for sure blow everyone away with his incredible shoulder freedom and amazing cadence in all gaits. This gentlemen also is such a joy to work with, as he is super willing and has a great attitude. He is focused on you (his rider) and loves to please.
Not only does he have talent and a great character but also the looks to match. He has a lovely chiseled face with kind eyes, a muscular neck and a strong body with elegant legs.

Hermes is a total sweetheart and is not spooky. In fact, for the first 7 years of his life, his previous owners used him as a carriage horse from time to time - proving how unfazed he is by the things around him! Due to covid and the fact that his previous owners did not enjoy competing (they liked to train horses to higher levels), Hermes is missing some show experience. Nevertheless, he has been to many different locations for training and showed that he is only focused on his rider and the job he had to do - no silly behaviour. Definitely the making of a perfect show horse, don't you think? Due to his little show experience, he has been priced rather affordably. So this could be the deal of a lifetime for you!

His sire is Belissimo M, the same sire as Isabel Werths horse Bella Rose, has an amazing track record in dressage. A record winner at the KWPN stallion test, Bundeschampion and finalist at the world cup for dressage horses. In 2011, Belissimo M competed Grand-Prix under the saddle of Hayley Beresford with multiple victories. He also qualified to go to the London 2012 Olympics for the Australian team. As a riding horse producer Belissimo is absolutely a class of its own: so far, nine stallion performance test winner and four runner-up performance test winner among so far over 50 licensed stallions are probably a world record! 85 state premium mares, including champion mares in Hanover, Bavaria and Westphalia and the Rhineland in 2012 winning mare, bear witness to his inheritance safety. These five federal champions and with a view point come a two-time bronze medalist at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden. Hermes definitely has the right genes! He will for sure be a show stopper in the ring.
