Striking bay gelding born April 14, 2007. Herostan is a worthy representative of his outstanding bloodlines. Herostan was awarded Premium by the BWP judges. Sire, Neostan is a spectacular son of the famous stallion Florestan I. Florestan I was champion of the 1988 Rhineland approval and won his performance test in Warendorf the following year. He has produced many approved stallion sons and many state premium mares. Florestan I is recognized within the breed as a sire who can be relied upon for superior heritability. He produces outstanding basic paces, a beautiful head and lovely temperament. Neostan is successfully competing at the highest levels of dressage with trainer Jim Koford. Dam, Bala had a successful show career on the East coast before a shoulder injury. Hero made his show debut with Claire Darnell at the Houston Dressage Fall Classic, showing Training Level, with scores in the high 60's including 8's for gaits. He is also cantering small courses.
