SWEET 4-yr-old, 17 hh IMPORTED KWPN GELDING

Hidalgo is a 4-year-old, imported Dutch warmblood gelding by the incredibly popular Bretton Woods out of a Sir Sinclair mare. He is currently 17 h and is still growing. He was imported as a 3-year-old from Holland and has been in training with USDF Gold Medalist Petra Warlimont focusing on balance and developing strength.

Hidalgo is a pleasure to work with both on the ground and under saddle. He is very easy to train, wonderful for the farrier, easy to clip. load, bath and just an all-around joy to have in the barn. He is easy to work with and ride both indoors and outdoors. He has an incredibly sweet and chill temperament – it’s hard to believe he is only 4!

He has three very nice gaits and a great mind. His canter is a highlight – it is very uphill and comfortable. His trot is developing nicely and shows a lot of promise as he finishes growing and developing. He has started working on leg yields, which seems to be easy for him.

Hidalgo will make a wonderful partner for a taller rider who is wanting a super horse to train and show. He has very recent clean x-rays and will pass a PPE with flying colors. He is located in Evergreen, Colorado, about 1 hour west of the Denver International Airport.
