Meet HIGH SOCIETY SH aka Sophie, 2014 black GOV filly by the Hanoverian stallion Harvard (Hohenstein) out of Enya B (Earl). During her foal inspection was awarded the title top filly of the inspection, premium foal and foal of distinction, so she definitely started her show career with quite a splash!! And this summer she was high scoring Non-Hanoverian mare at the Hanoverian inspection and is now also entered into the AHS main studbook.
After a light introduction to work last fall, we have now started her under saddle and she has the same wonderful work ethic like her full brother Hohenfels SH who was sold within 10 days after posting to a local FEI rider, and is now showing in the USEF 4 Year Old Horse Test with scores in the high 70s.
Sophie’s sire Harvard (Hohenstein x Cardinal) stamps his offspring with his elegant head, and kind and sensible disposition. At his performance test in 1999 he scored a perfect 10 for temperament and 9 for character, willingness and ability to work, constitution and rideability. In 2010 Harvard was given an impressive overall index of 134 and a FN ranking of 136.
Enya B, her dam, is a refined, classically construted mare with a very kind temperament. Her sire is Earl – champion of his 2002 Stallion Performance Test where he scored an overall of 143.91. All of Enya’s foals have been very successful at their foal inspections with numerous premium foals.
This young lady is a dream come true for any rider - she is very sweet, pretty and talented...She brings a smile to my face every day I have the pleasure working with her. Currently priced at $25,000.00 - price will increase with more training.
