Hollywood is by the imported Dutch dressage stallion, Odilon, out of the imported Dutch mare Sorrenta, by the well known Dutch Dressage stallion, Inspekteur. Bred for dressage through both sire and dam, Holly is a very powerful moving filly with a strong hind quarter and really uses her hocks. She loves people and is easy to work with. She is correct & compact with a beautiful sculpted head, big eye, well shaped neck and strong topline. She should excel in the dressage ring. Guesstimate of mature height is around 16.1 hh.
Hollywood’s sire, the imported Dutch stallion, Odilon, has been shown in dressage very successfully in Florida at Young Riders and is being shown successfully by his owner in Prix St. George in Alberta, Canada. Odilon passes on his wonderful temperament and lovely movement to his offspring and there are a lot of them in the dressage & hunter rings. One of Odilon's youngsters was bought by Leslie Reid, Canadian Olympic dressage competitor.
Hollywood’s dam Sorrenta was imported from Holland and is a beautiful mare with impressive movement. She is by the Dutch dressage stallion, Inspekteur (by Darwin) who won the dressage component of his stallion testing scoring 9’s in Behaviour, Character, & Trot. He also won many championships & European medals. At the Young Riders under Marlies van Baalen they were always at the top, twice with gold and once with silver. Inspekteur is known for producing exceptional movement and passing on his wonderful temperament. Sorrenta’s dam sire, Makelaar is a top dressage producer in Holland with 3 Grand Prix Offspring.
Hollywood can be boarded at Crooked Creek Farm for a very reasonable price until ready to be taken home.
