Handled every day since birth, ‘Casper’ has developed a bold personality and a curious nature; he’s easy to work with, is very trusting yet at the same time has good manners and is well behaved. He’s amazingly balanced and uphill in all gaits and is showing beautiful elasticity, balance and suspension. With 24/7 turnout with lots of hills to run, he’s muscled up, is athletic and carries himself with an incredible, look at me persona and presence. He is going to be a big boy when he finishes growing and it is evident that he has a great deal of raw talent. Casper is curious, friendly and loves attention. He’s very comfortable around dogs and farm equipment.

Casper has top international Grand Prix competitors on both sides of his pedigree! With his super gaits, powerful trot and canter this colt has strongly been stamped by his sire, the late Blue Hors Hotline, (Hofrat x DenNiro x Wendepunkt), champion stallion of the 2005 Hanoverian licensing. Hotline was the superior winner of his 70-day performance test in Schlieckau with 137.34 points, 10 points more than number two. In dressage, he scored a 10 from both test riders and finished his performance test with a dressage index of 149.28 points! He dominated the young horse championships in Denmark and continued his excellent level of performance right up to the International Grand Prix level. Hotline’s sire Hofrat was Trakehner Stallion of the Year at the Trakehner licensing in Neumünster in 2000. Dam sire De Niro is one of the most successful sons of Donnerhall, both in sport and in breeding. De Niro himself is a Grand Prix winner and sire of numerous licensed stallions, State Premium mares, auction horses and championship horses. In 2018 Hotline achieved the honour of being named 20th on the WBFSH ranking list for Dressage sires. He was a rare stallion who has not only competed to the top level of sport but had proven to be a sire who also throws a very high percentage of upper level performance horses.
Casper is out of Fabricati Diem, a gorgeous black, sweet and mild mannered mare sired by the Premium Black Westfalen dressage stallion, Freestyle. She successfully passed on all her good traits and amazing qualities to her offspring.
Casper is registered with the C.W.H.A. He’s halter broken and enjoys water. He stands well for the farrier, has beautiful feet and currently stands at just shy of 17HH. Casper has started regular ground work training. He willingly W/T/C off a suggestion, yields his hindquarters, has undergone some desensitization training and stands quietly while being tacked. He also loads into the trailer like a champ. He takes everything in stride, has a lot of trust and will be an easy horse to start.
